My lovely pals from Vita Vite invited me to a sneak peek of their soon-to-debut second location in North Hills this past Sunday evening and before I even stepped in the door I was in awe of the two-story vino mecca.
I have been a long-time fan of their original Downtown Raleigh location (313 W Hargett Street) and am thrilled at proprietor Lindsay Rice’s success in the Raleigh market allowing her the opportunity to grow in this amazing fashion. I have long said one of the few voids that needed filling in North Hills is an ideal “sip and chill” spot. North Hills has no shortage of great dining (shoutout to RFWF favorite Midtown Grille!) but in terms of just meeting up with friends for a glass of wine or two… nowhere that really fit the bill for that.
I was very impressed how this new location feels so much like the original in design aesthetic (I’ll call it “industrial chic”) so that it feels familiar – but on a much larger scale. And of course in trule wine bar + art gallery format, there are lots of pieces of unique artwork adorned throughout. Yes, you can buy it. (I’d be lying if I said I don’t have a piece of art that hangs proudly in my living room to this day as a tribute to my past wine-induced purchases from Vita. 🥂)
Vita Vite North Hills is in the permitting process and while it appears nearly ready to go, hasn’t quite yet opened. I’ll of course update this post and our social (FB, Twitter, Insta) with the pertinent deets. Until then, I leave you with these gorgeous photos and a little bit of pent-up desire to imbibe in midtown!

More to Come
A few of the questions I have include if there will be seating on the ground level so that you can enjoy a glass with your pooch like you can at the DTR location. I also wonder if they’ll be closed on Mondays to give their team a little RNR like they do at DTR. I’ll be sure to share more when I have those details, as well. In the meantime, get pumped for this new spot to open in the coming weeks!
